REASONS TO BE A BUILDER MEMBER

The Association actively monitors the local, state, and national legislative and regulatory changes that affect the residential construction industry. The HBA staff, working with the Michigan Association of Home Builders (MHBA) and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is committed to protecting your business interests and keeping you informed.

2. Educational Opportunities
Through seminars, workshops and publications, the Association offers its members many ways to stay current on issues and ideas crucial to the industry. Once you are a member of the HBA you are also a member of the State and National Homebuilders Associations, thus providing you with access not only to our local publications and services, but also state and national.

Involvement in or advertising at Association events such as Parade of Homes, the annual Home Show, and golf outing provide an excellent opportunity for professional recognition. The Association offers many opportunities for members to meet and network with others in the building industry. Members receive dinner for one at regularly held General Membership Meetings and Associate Membership includes membership in the state and National HBA.
